Special Communication Needs

For patients who do not speak English or have special communication needs we can offer the choice of using a language assistance service to communicate:

Translations and Interpreter Service (TIS)

Translations and Interpreter Service (TIS) provides an interpreter over the phone during medical consultations to assist patients who do not speak English.

National Relay Service (NRS)

National Relay Service (NRS) provides phone assistance for patients who are deaf, hard of hearing and/or have a speech impairment. Phone: 133 677 (TTY) or 1300 555 725 (Speak and Listen).
