Station Square Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. We bulk-bill Pensioners, Commonwealth Senior Health Care Card Holders, Health Care Card holders, DVA Card holders and Children under 16 who have a valid Medicare Card.
The fees below are indicative of private charges in the practice and patients should be aware that individual doctors may bill at different rates. Charges will vary depending on the length of time you spend with the doctor and the complexity of your medical condition.

Please note that other services such as Pre-employment Medical Assessments, Mental Health Care Plans, sutures, wound care, ECG’s and pregnancy tests, among others, attract varying fees. The cost depends on the type of procedure or service and its complexity. Please ensure that you enquire about any costs prior to the procedure or service.
Medical consumables, such as dressings, used as part of your treatment may also attract a separate fee.
Please ask our reception staff if you have any questions about fees that are not addressed by the information displayed. It is practice policy that all accounts are paid in full on the day of your consultation. We accept EFTPOS, MasterCard, Visa and cash.
Telehealth (Video or Phone) Consultations
Telehealth consultations are bulk-billed for all patients.
Claiming your Medicare Rebate
We offer Medicare Easyclaim: for eligible services your Medicare Rebate is paid back to your EFTPOS card immediately after you have paid your account at the practice. This requires a savings or cheque account with a pin number, Medicare will not put the rebate into a credit account.
We also encourage our patients to register their bank account details with Medicare to allow for prompt reimbursement of the Medicare rebate to the nominated bank account in the case where you do not have an EFTPOS card.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend for a scheduled appointment, please contact us to cancel or change your appointment time. A fee may be charged for failure to attend or cancellation at short notice. (Please note: this fee is not Medicare rebatable.)
